The cabinet is set to appoint Narumon Pinyosinwat as government spokeswoman and Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana as her deputy.
Narumon Pinyosinwat has resigned as a party-list MP to avoid potential conflicts of interest, with Pornchai Trakulwaranont slated to fill her parliamentary seat.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will delegate duties and responsibilities to his five deputies, including Dr. Wissanu Krea-ngarm and General Prawit Wongsuwan.
The Pheu Thai party plans to challenge the qualifications of some cabinet ministers and the legal status of the cabinet's incomplete oath through a petition to the Constitutional Court.
