Harvey Weinstein was convicted of sexual assault and rape against two women, marking a significant, albeit partial, victory for the #MeToo movement.
Despite being cleared of the most serious predatory sexual assault charges, the former Hollywood mogul faces up to 25 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for March 11.
The verdict, hailed by organizations like Time's Up as a 'new era of justice' for survivors, will be appealed by Weinstein's lawyers, with further charges pending in Los Angeles.
