Thaksin Shinawatra publicly expressed feeling "abandoned" by trusted allies, specifically targeting Jatuporn Prompan, a former top red-shirt leader.
Jatuporn is actively defying the Pheu Thai Party by backing a rival candidate in the upcoming Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organisation election.
This public dispute marks a significant shift in their relationship, as Thaksin has historically remained silent during past conflicts with Jatuporn.
The escalating conflict includes mutual accusations, with Jatuporn claiming Pheu Thai mistreated loyalists, while Thaksin highlighted his own sacrifices.
Senior Red Shirt members have also called for Jatuporn to leave the movement, underscoring the deepening rift within the political faction.

A dinner between Bhumjaithai and Kla Tham party leaders sparked rumors of a potential merger, though Bhumjaithai's leader, Anutin, downplayed it as a casual meal.
The meeting is widely interpreted as a strategic message from Bhumjaithai to the Pheu Thai party, signaling alternative support ahead of an upcoming no-confidence debate.

Kla Tham's voting behavior in the censure debate will demonstrate its loyalty to the government, potentially influencing future political dynamics despite current merger restrictions.
