President Trump prematurely declared victory in the White House race, despite millions of votes remaining uncounted across several states.
Democratic rival Joe Biden expressed confidence in winning, asserting he was on track to secure the necessary Electoral College votes once all ballots were tallied.
Trump announced intentions to take his case to the U.S. Supreme Court, alleging "major fraud" and demanding an immediate halt to vote counting, even though polls had already closed.
The election outcome hinges on key Rust Belt states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, where vote counting is ongoing, with increased mail-in ballots extending the process.

Chinese nationals were advised to verify job offers, use legitimate transport, avoid high-risk border areas, protect personal documents, and keep family informed of travel plans.
