Four Thai policemen were arrested, with three, including Superintendent "Joe Ferrari," on the run, following a viral video showing them allegedly torturing a suspect to death.
The brutal incident, reportedly aimed at extorting 2 million Baht from a 24-year-old drug suspect, has sparked widespread public outrage and prompted a high-level investigation.
Authorities have dismissed seven officers involved, issued arrest warrants, and launched a manhunt, while also discovering 29 supercars at the fugitive superintendent's residence.
The video was leaked by a junior police officer, and the initial death certificate, which cited "amphetamine intoxication," is now under scrutiny.

Two suspected drug couriers were killed in a shootout with narcotics officers in Phetchaburi province.
Authorities seized approximately half a tonne of crystal methamphetamine, also known as Ice, during the operation.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night after officers tracked a network suspected of transporting large quantities of drugs to southern Thailand.
The suspects, identified as Chattharin and Rungarun, both 27, opened fire when confronted by officers, who returned fire, resulting in their deaths.
