Life in Thailand getting back to normal – but only if you are vaccinated

14 Sept 02:16 Key points summarised by AI

Thailand's new "COVID-Free Setting" rules create a two-tiered society, allowing vaccinated individuals to access more services and businesses while restricting the unvaccinated.
These rules mandate specific requirements for businesses and customers, including fully vaccinated staff, sanitized environments, and proof of vaccination, recent recovery, or a negative test for patrons.
Vaccinated residents are actively resuming pre-pandemic activities, while unvaccinated individuals face significant lifestyle changes and often comply with restrictions while awaiting their vaccine doses.
Despite official guidelines, enforcement of the "COVID-Free Setting" rules is inconsistent, with many businesses showing leniency, leading to concerns about potential future outbreaks.
