14 Sept 07:50 Key points summarised by AI

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced he tested positive for COVID-19, confirming he is feeling fine and will work remotely, despite being fully vaccinated and boosted.
Trudeau vehemently denounced anti-vaccine mandate protesters in Ottawa, condemning their "shocking" and "disgusting" behavior, which included vandalism, racist symbols, and disrespect for national memorials.
The large-scale protests, involving truck convoys, demanded an end to all COVID-19 restrictions and vaccine mandates, alongside calls for Trudeau's removal, provoking widespread outrage across Canada.
Ottawa police are actively investigating potential criminal charges stemming from the protesters' actions, as Trudeau urged those discomfited by the displayed hatred to speak out.

President Macron condemned widespread rioting and looting during nationwide protests, blaming far-left activists and criminals for the "unrestrained violence" and vowing accountability for those who "sought to bring down the Republic."
Over 2,400 arrests were made as protests against rising living costs and poor school conditions escalated, causing extensive damage to public buildings and businesses in cities like Paris, Limoges (where City Hall burned), Marseille, and Lyon.
The unrest, which organizers hoped would revive the "yellow vest" movement, saw political leaders trade blame, with Macron instructing prefects to protect public buildings and potentially ban future protests to prevent further disorder.
