Will Smith physically assaulted Chris Rock on stage during the Oscars after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved head, which is due to alopecia.
Smith, who later won his first Best Actor Oscar for 'King Richard,' apologized to the Academy and his fellow nominees in a tearful speech, but notably not to Rock.
The shocking altercation, which saw Smith shout profanities at Rock, overshadowed the entire awards ceremony and became a major talking point.
Despite the incident, Los Angeles police confirmed that Chris Rock declined to file a police report against Smith.
