Justin Bieber scraps world tour over health issues, Bangkok performance in doubt

Justin Bieber has canceled his ongoing "Justice" world tour, announcing a break from performing to prioritize his health.
The decision stems from his ongoing battle with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a condition causing partial facial paralysis and extreme exhaustion.
This cancellation impacts numerous global performances scheduled through March 2023, including a highly anticipated show in Bangkok in November.
Bieber previously postponed the North American leg due to the syndrome and stated his recent return to the stage was premature.

Hong Kong activist Joshua Wong sentenced to 10 more years in prison

Prominent Hong Kong activist Joshua Wong was sentenced to an additional 10 years in prison under the national security law for 'conspiracy to collude with foreign forces.'
The judge identified Wong as a 'mastermind' who called for adverse foreign interference and sanctions against China and Hong Kong, emphasizing the grave nature of his offense.
This new conviction significantly extends Wong's current prison term, underscoring the ongoing crackdown on Hong Kong's pro-democracy movement and the authorities' resolve to keep key activists incarcerated.
Wong, already serving a separate sentence, maintains his political actions were not driven by hatred and he never advocated for Hong Kong independence, expressing a commitment to personal growth during his imprisonment.
