Malaysians visiting southern Thailand are advised to stay alert and follow official updates on the ongoing flood situation.
Thai authorities are utilizing multiple social media platforms to provide real-time updates on rising water levels and affected areas.
Tourists in flood-hit regions, such as parts of Songkhla province, must evacuate immediately to the nearest border checkpoint upon receiving a flood warning.
Travellers are urged not to delay their departure and to head to higher ground checkpoints, like Sadao, if alerts are issued.
While popular destinations like Hat Yai remain safe, caution is advised on main roads in Songkhla, Yala, and Narathiwat due to potential slipperiness from stagnant water.
