The USS George HW Bush, carrying 4,800 personnel, arrived in Phuket, Thailand, for a rest-and-recreation visit after months of supporting US operations in the Middle East.
This port call is the first for Carrier Strike Group 10 since its March deployment, during which it maintained maritime security in the US Central Command area.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations through meetings with Thai officials and foster cultural exchange via community activities and interactions between US sailors and the local population.
The deployment underscores the US Navy's commitment to routine operations in the Indo-Pacific, collaborating with allies to ensure a free, open, and secure region.
