Verified: The “fake farm” strikes again. Latest victims report receiving seeds that do not match the descriptions.

The old “Fake Farm” is still active, with new victims complaining to Thai PBS Verify about receiving products that don't match the advertised descriptions. Further investigations revealed that the original page has created multiple fake pages to scam people into buying bad-quality seeds. People are being warned not to fall for it.

Thai PBS Verify found that the same Facebook page selling mismatched seeds is now stealing images from other pages to promote their fake seeds. Victims have provided evidence of the bad seeds they received, prompting warnings to the public to stay alert and avoid these scams.

Found through Investigation: The False posts continue to be found, using images from other pages without permission.

Through an investigation using Google Lens, it was found that a post from the Facebook page “Suan Sakorn” on February 12, 2025, matched an image from a post on the Facebook page “Good Farm ข้าวโพดนมสดฮอกไกโด (Hokkaido Sweet Corn).” (Recorded Link)

We reached out to the page Good Farm ข้าวโพดนมสดฮอกไกโด,” which confirmed that the images being misused were originally posted by their farm on May 13, 2024.

We received a complaint from someone who fell for the misleading ad and ordered corn seeds from the page, only to discover they were just dyed corn kernels—completely different from the advertised images.

We also found that images posted on November 8, 2024, had several similarities to locations shown in the post from the page “Suan Mae Kumchan.” Both pages are involved in selling agricultural products. (Recorded Link)

For the “Suan Mae Kumchanpage, we found that it also used images from other pages without permission. The post in question featured an image advertising kumquat tree, which was posted on April 6, 2023. However, upon investigation using the Google Lens image verification tool, it was discovered that the image was originally posted by the page Feng Shui Master Ma,” posted back in 2019. This suggests that both pages may have been created by the same source. (Recorded Link)

Impact of the False Information

The page in question has attracted significant attention, with advertisements reaching up to 500,000 views and over 500 inquiries about purchase details. Currently, ads are still being run, potentially misleading people into thinking they are directly buying seeds from farmers featured in the promotional clips. Upon investigation, it was found that the page is connected to other pages selling agricultural products. Without proper inspection, customers may receive products that do not match the advertisements or may be scammed into ordering products but never receiving any goods.

Suggestions for when encountering false information

If you come across similar ads or posts, follow these tips:

✅ Always be cautious, as these individuals are scammers.

✅ Look for the blue tick verification mark next to the page name to ensure it is an official page.

Verify suspicious images using the Google Lens image-checking tool.

✅ Observe whether the page has repeatedly changed its name.

✅ Check if the page has received “angry reactions.” Scammers can delete comments or block you, but they cannot remove reactions.
