From past to present, the water markets of Damnoen Saduak have served as centres of trade and exchange, where it is a common sight to see neighbours paddling their boats past each other. Witnessing their conversations, we see the close community friendships that formed the foundation for the famous Damnoen Saduak floating market which used to attract foreign tourists. Things have gone quiet due to the pandemic. There is no longer the crowdedness of motor boats. There are now only a few boats powered by engines travelling around, and it appears that images of Damnoen Saduak from historic times have returned in full visibility.
