Verification Process
Upon investigation, it was found that a Facebook page named “Community enterprise” introduces itself as a job and career page. The page advertises through Facebook, stating:
“Now accepting applications for scented candle packing jobs. Training provided, start immediately! We send work directly to your location. No experience required. Can be done as a side job after regular work hours. #ContinuousWorkAvailable #NoMatterWhereYouAre #WeSendWorkToSupportLocalCommunities.”
The advertisement also falsely claims that the company is legally registered and that workers can earn 500-1,200 THB per day.

Furthermore, upon checking the page’s transparency information, it was found that the page was only recently created on December 17, 2024.

And when we used Google Lens to verify the images of the products posted on the page, we found that they matched products available on an online shopping platform.

Meanwhile, when we used Google Lens to verify the cover photo of the page, we found that one of the images matched a post from the Ban Hua Rin Health Promotion Hospital Facebook page. The original image was from a project promoting the quality of life for bedridden and homebound patients in 2024, which has no connection to any product packing job.

Regarding the profile picture of the page, we discovered that it was taken from the Facebook page “Agricultural Housewives and Agricultural Activities Group, Department of Agricultural Extension”. The image was edited, changing the name from “Agricultural Housewives Group” to “Community Work Distribution Group.”

Additionally, we contacted the Community Development Department, Ministry of Interior, as the cover photo of the fake page referenced the “Community Development Department.” The Community Development Department clarified that: “This page is a fake page and has no connection with our department. If you encounter any information or contact from this page, please be cautious and do not share personal information. You can follow our official page for accurate news and information. Thank you for your attention, and please help share this message to prevent any harm!”

Regarding advertisements for earning extra income by doing work from home, such as packing products, we have previously encountered posts from users on Pantip asking about such home-based jobs.

In the post, it was found that the person in the LINE conversation encouraged the account owner to do a side job packing products but required a deposit of 300 THB for product insurance. They claimed that boxes, tape, and products would be provided for free. After packing the products, a vehicle would pick them up. The task was to pack 200 boxes per week and the payment would be 10 THB per box.
