Why Thai PBS Verify?
In 2024, Thai PBS Verify was established as a new voice in the effort to disseminate accurate information through fact-checking, amidst the overwhelming spread of misinformation in today’s world. The initiative aims to “end the epidemic of rumors, falsehoods, and fake news, and create a safer online environment.”
Objective
- To verify and halt the spread of rumors, hoaxes, false information, and fake news.

To develop skills and strengthen media literacy immunity, helping people avoid becoming victims of misinformation — both in terms of content and technological tools.

To build a fact-checking media ecosystem, including content hubs, media literacy activities, partnerships, and communities.
