Corrections and Update
Corrections Policy
If information containing factual errors is published, a correction will be made, and a note will be appended to the end of the article. This note will clearly specify the details of the correction and the date of the update. A record of corrections published over the years is archived below.
In cases where errors are significant, the article will be retracted. A statement explaining the nature of the error and relevant factors will be published in its place. Additionally, a correction notice will be shared via the same social media channels used for the original content to ensure the public is fully informed.
For errors occurring in formats where content cannot be directly edited (such as certain types of social media posts), the inaccurate content will be deleted, and the corrected information will be published through the same channel.
Every article will indicate at the end of the content whenever there are updates, clarifications or new information added after the initial publication.
Reporting Errors
If you identify a factual error in an article, you may contact us via verify@thaipbs.or.th. Please provide details of the inaccuracy along with supporting evidence. Requests for corrections will be reviewed by fact-checkers in coordination with editors. Please note that requests that are groundless, not based on facts, contain insulting or threatening language or involve coordinated spamming will not receive a response.
Compliance and Complaints
If you believe there has been a violation of the standards set by the European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN) or the Code of Principles of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), you may submit a complaint through the established procedures.
