Verified: Thai PBS Clip Reporting “Boy Tha Phrachan” Arrest over Gambling Website Was Actually Created Using AI Deepfake Technology
Thai PBS Verify has confirmed that a viral clip faking the program “Thai PBS News Now (Tan Khao),” which appeared to show police arresting “Boy Tha Phrachan” for alleged ties to gambling websites, was in fact a fake clip generated using AI deepfake by a scammer. Academics pointed out that the credibility of Thai PBS is being misused to promote online gambling ads.
