NATURAL RESOURCES MINISTRY BLOCKED ROAD CONSTRUCTION AT HILL 450, HINDERING MILITARY REINFORCEMENTS

Thai PBS Verify investigated claims that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment blocked road construction near Hill 450 in the Chong Sa-ngam area, allegedly affecting Thai military deployments. The claim was found to be misleading. Thai national park officials said they had never opposed tactical road work and would support urgent security operations if needed. The Thai army also reported that Cambodian forces agreed to restore trenches and barbed-wire barriers, while the reasons for those constructions remain officially unconfirmed.
