Thai PBS Verify investigated a page named Tasnim News Agency, which posted claiming "A Thai ship was attacked by Iran's IRGC in the Strait of Hormuz", finding the information inconsistent with the facts. The Royal Thai Navy confirmed the Thai ship is safe, while the ship's location was found never to have been in the incident area. Meanwhile, the post’s page was found to be based in Bangladesh.
