A Facebook user claimed that “Putin praised Kan Jompalang as a model citizen who loves his country and homeland.” However, upon investigation, it was found to be false — merely a scam post intended to lure people into subscribing to a paid service. Thousands of users were deceived and shared the post over 1,000 times.
