A viral clip falsely claimed that Anutin had secretly approved the opening of the “Khao Din” border checkpoint in Sa Kaeo Province, attracting over 1.6 million views. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the audio in the clip was AI-generated to narrate fabricated news. The Bhumjaithai Party confirmed that the checkpoint has not been opened, and on-site media reports verified that the border remains closed and inaccessible, contrary to the claim.
