A fraudulent page was found on social media, aiming to deceive victims into booking rooms and transferring money. Meanwhile, the hotel itself — Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa Krabi — has warned the public to always verify the account name before making any reservation payment.

Thai PBS Verify found a “fake page” running ads on Facebook, impersonating the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand. It falsely claimed to open registration for victims to apply for refunds from scams. Do not believe it, as it is a fraud.
