An investigation revealed that the viral image depicting ‘migrant women crowding a hospital maternity ward’ was created using AI.

Thai PBS Verify investigated a post claiming that hospitals are overcrowded with expectant migrant women, causing foreign births to surge past Thai births. A check of actual statistics revealed a 10-fold difference in birth rates. Furthermore, the image featured in the post was found to be AI-generated.
