Thai PBS Verify discovered a fake advertisement that falsely used the Thai PBS World Tonight logo. It utilized AI deepfake technology to impersonate well-known news anchors and businesspeople, inviting people to invest in a scheme called CRYSTALLUM AI. But the original clip was actually a news report about a flood in 2013. Victims have warned others not to be fooled, as it could lead to financial losses and fraud.
