Thai PBS Verify investigated a social media post claiming that President Donald Trump ordered visa denials to people with diabetes, obesity, and heart disease because they might be considered a burden to the country. In reality, the measure was a temporary suspension of permanent visas until authorities could confirm that immigrants would not become a public burden. Under the U.S. law, visas are not granted to individuals with communicable diseases. Scholars noted that the measure directly affected the public and reflected a growing distance in the Thai–U.S. relation.

A post claimed that “Trump used state funds to build a ballroom and failed to pay soldiers during the government shutdown.” In fact, the project was funded by private donations, and Trump ordered that soldiers be paid as usual.

A post on X circulated with an image and the claim that President Donald Trump passed away. The White House has denied this, confirming instead that Trump is suffering only from a vein-related illness.

A post claiming a “protest in support of Trump to end the Ukraine war” has been debunked. The video actually dates back to 2018 and shows Trump supporters and far-right activists rallying for the release of their movement leaders.
